Gas and Oil Furnaces
Leading Trane furnaces convert over 90% of the gas or oil consumed into heat, far above the federal-mandated minimum efficiency level of 78%. Trane furnaces are tested for durability and longevity and are well-known for their efficient use of energy and air circulation. Most models come available with the Trane CleanEffects™ option that provides advanced air purification that filters out 99% of most airborne allergens such as pollen, dander, and even viruses.

XC Communicating
Combines maximum efficiency with enhanced performance and convenience in a single powerful unit. The variable-speed fan provides quiet operation with a constant air flow to provide maximum comfort. Combined with a Telephone Access Module (TAM), you can remotely control your temperature and fan speeds from your phone and even receive status alerts.
Both the XC95 and the XC80 models come with the ComfortLink II Communicating Capability that connects all of the essential components of your system and automatically calibrates them to work more efficiently and extend the life of your product.
XV Two-Stage
Some of the most energy efficient gas furnaces on the market, available in four models: XV95, the XV90i, the XV80i, and the XV80.
For example, the XV95 unit has an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating of 96.7%, qualifies for Energy Star, and provides quiet, variable fan speeds for complete control and comfort.
XL Two-Stage
The Trane Two-Stage XL series (XL 90 and XL 80) provides two-stage heating system to maintain a more consistent temperature and avoid the high temperature swings of traditional models. Consistent temperatures not only provide greater comfort and air quality, but greater energy savings as well.
XT Single-Stag
The XT80 and the XT90 single-stage models maintain consistent operating temperatures and can be easily set to changing needs. Simply turn it to it's high setting to heat your home on exceptionally cold nights or turn it low to provide just a little extra warmth on chilly evenings. Either way, the Trane XT is designed to provide quiet, energy-efficient heat without a high cost.
XR Single-Stage
Features convenient, high-efficiency performance as a single-stage heating unit with complete control over the fan speed to adjust the temperature. With Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency ratings of over 91%, the Trane XR series combines lasting performance with the Trane standards of reliability. Both XR90 and XR80 models meet Energy Star requirements and are tested to the highest levels of durability.
XB Single-Stage
Combines Trane's famous reliability and durability with exceptional energy efficiency to give you maximum heating power on any budget. With an AFUE rating of 90% and higher, the XB90 and XB80 gas furnaces give you lasting performance at an economical price. Quiet fan speeds and variable settings make the XB model one of Trane's most popular units.
Oil
Known for its dependable warmth, oil provides lasting heating performance to those who prefer oil to gas. Trane's XV 80 and XV90 furnaces are AFUE rated up to 85%. Change the fan speeds to give you home high-performance heating on freezing nights or just the right amount of warmth on cool evenings. The quiet fan and trademark Trane durability means you'll be comfortable all year round.
